Burna Boy, Wizkid Emerge Winners at 2020 BET Awards held Virtually

Burna Boy won the ‘Best International Act’ award at the 20th BET Awards held virtually on Sunday.

Wizkid’s feature on Beyonce’s ‘Brown Skin Girl’ track won him the BET Award. He emerged as the African artiste with the most BET awards win.

The award took place virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic and was hosted by Comedian Amanda Seales.

Burna Boy becomes the first artist to win the BET Best International Act award for two years in a row.

The African Giant was nominated in the category alongside Stormzy, Dave, both UK based, Ninho and S.Pri Noir (France), Sho Madjozi (South Africa) and Innoss’B (Democratic Republic of the Congo).

The biggest winners of the night were Beyonce, Megan Thee Stallion, Chris Brown and Roddy Ricch. They won two awards each.
