Ex-NBA player #Kermit Washington just got a really challenging denial — with a judge rejecting his request for early prison release over fears he could catch ‘corona’.

TMZ reports the 68-year-old former NBA All-Star is serving 6 years in prison for running a sham charity scheme in which he swindled around $1 MILLION that was supposed to help starving and HIV positive children in Africa.

#Kermit back in April filed a court document begging the judge for an early release — stating health concerns stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.

But, now the court has ruled … and it’s not in favor of Kermit.
