Made famous by hits in the 90s and 2000s, Alka Yagnik is now the most listened artist on YouTube. In her career spanning over three years, she has surpassed foreign artists such as BTS, Taylor Swift and Beyoncé.
Her songs topped the charts for most of his reign in the 1990s and 2000s when he portrayed some of the biggest Bollywood heroes of the time. Its versatility is noted for its more than 7000 songs in various Indian languages.

She has won several awards including the National Film Award for Best Female Singer.
According to the Guinness Book of World Records, her songs have received a total of 15.3 billion streams on YouTube, with an average of 42 million streams per day.
Over the past two years, Yagnik’s popularity on YouTube has grown. It recorded 17 billion and 16.6 billion streams in 2021 and 2020, respectively. Bad Bunny took second place on this year’s chart with 14.7 billion streams. Additionally, three singers entered the top 5 of 2022: Udit Narayan, Arijit Singh and Kumar Sanu. In 2022, BTS recorded 7.95 billion streams.

Taylor Swift drops to No. 26 with 5.7 billion streams, and Drake drops to No. 50 with 2.9 billion streams. Meanwhile, The Weeknd ranked 13th on YouTube with a total of 5.7 billion streams.
