A 60-year-old man is now fighting for his life at the Longisa County Referral Hospital after spending three days in a 20-foot pit where his son threw him while they were arguing on the over a Land.
Samuel Tanui, a resident of Emitiot sub-district in Chepalungu sub-district in Bomet County, Kenya, was thrown into a well after a major land dispute.
According to Deputy Superintendent Lenny Ngeno, Tanui had previously refused to allow his son Charles Kiplangat Rotich, 22, to sell the family land, prompting his son to plot to kill him.

After throwing him into a pit, Rotich assumed his father was dead and went about his normal business.
The old man screamed so loudly that bystanders heard him and he was rescued, He was then rushed to the hospital.
