An English court on Thursday fined Newcastle United midfielder Joe Linton £29,000 and banned him from driving for 12 months for driving under the influence, media reported.
Yan, 26, was arrested in the morning of Jan 12. Northumbria Police charged Joelinton with “breaching a DUI limit”. He pleaded guilty to the charges.
According to Sky Sports, once he completes his rehabilitation course, his driving ban will be reduced to nine months.
