Tiffany Haddish is contemplating about the idea of been a mother, but says one fear she muster is– bringing a child into a racist world.
The author| comedian | actress discussed the topic on “What’s in Your Glass?, hosted by NBA star Carmelo Anthony‘s podcast,” saying everyone’s always asking her when she’s going to have some babies.
The 40 year old Tiffany answered “There’s a part of me that would like to do that, and I always make up these excuses like, ‘Oh, I need a million dollars in the bank before I do that, I need this, I need that.’
But really, it’s like, I would hate to give birth to someone that looks like me, knowing that they’re gonna be hunted or killed.”
Carmelo — who has a teenage son — said, “It’s scary to even think about that” … and Haddish pointed out that white people don’t have that concern. He has been named an NBA All-Star ten times and an All-NBA Team member six times.
Tiffany recently cut her locks, but there has been some mixed response from her fans.
She justified her decision to chop her hair isn’t synonymous with her mental state.
She queried “Why, when a woman decides ‘Hey, I’m gonna cut this hair off because I wanna see my scalp,’ she gotta have a mental problem?”
“Nothing is wrong with my brain; I’m not suffering from no emotional shit, nothing.
We think the hair cutting might be related to a role in new movie, or maybe that is what she wants — you never know.
